Our team screens on talent and professionalism. Before your first stream you verify your identity: you upload a photo of your national ID or passport plus a selfie holding it, and we check you are 18 or older. We keep your ID only until it is checked, then delete it — we never hold on to your document.
Once verified you appear on the discovery grid. Nobody streams on Miresho without a verified ID — that is what makes this stage safe to stand on.
Most live platforms leave creators with a minority of what viewers spend. We built our own stack in Kenya, so we don't have to. Here is every shilling, with nothing hidden.
The 5% is withholding tax, not our cut — we deduct it from your share and pay it over to KRA on your behalf, and we earn nothing on it. Every shilling withheld is recorded on your payout statement, so you can always see exactly what was taken and when. Our share pays the M-Pesa charges, the servers, the marketing that brings viewers to your room, and your host manager. Your manager is never paid out of your share.
The practical bits, so nothing surprises you: payouts run monthly and start once your balance passes KSh 1,000 — below that it simply rolls over to the next month, untaxed. You need a verified ID and a verified M-Pesa number before your first payout.

Hours or gifts — whichever you reach first. Show up consistently and you climb even if your room is small. Hours count from streams you have finished, up to 12 a day.
Miss a goal and you simply don't move up yet. There are no quotas that cut your pay, no penalties, and we never claw earnings back. A tier you reached is yours to keep.
Your dashboard shows your balance, your share, the tax withheld and what lands in your M-Pesa — the numbers on this page come straight out of the same code that pays you.
The percentage you have is yours to keep. If we ever change the ladder for new hosts, you keep what you reached and we tell you in your dashboard before it happens.
